Cotton is the key source of livelihood for many farmers.
The country is the second-largest African cotton growers…women particularly are strongly involved in smallholder cotton cultivation. They pick the cotton, spin the thread, weave the fabric and sew garments but their efforts are not rewarded.
We want the activity to empower and enable women to have a sustainable future.
